The separating bucket is hydraulically operated from a third valve and control inside the excavator.The bucket is designed for faster and more efficient separation of the fines than other screening buckets. By a set of rotating shafts that oscillate the material, it will work more efficiently in wet material than normal buckets with a shaker screen or simply a screen with no shaker operation. By the hydraulic motors actuating the rotating shafts that have spaced rotors attached, the material is "tumbled" in the bucket with the sized material (fines) exiting the bottom of the bucket and the larger material staying in the bucket until the excess larger material is dumped out.
